Hi this video shows you how to replace a faulty door latch on an internal door.
Replace latch on locked door.

Once the oven is cool after a self clean cycle.
This allows you to pull the door.
In some cases door latch plate mortises might need to be cut or enlarged.
Begin by removing the screws from the door knob on the interior side of your door.
Unscrew the two screws on the base plate of the door knob on the interior side of the door using a screwdriver with the appropriate head.
Your latch is broken and you re locked out.
2 remove the two smaller.
The door lock motor assembly locks the latch to keep the oven door shut during the cleaning cycle and when the control lock out is active.
Once you ve unscrewed the outer door handle remove it.
Now go to the hardware store and buy you a new dead latch.
Remove the two screws from the latch plate on the edge of the door and remove the latch from the opening.
You may want to spray wd40 or other lubricant on the lock mechanism.
Check the alignment of the latch and strike plate.
Attach the plastic door lock actuator back onto the assembly with two screws.
On models with mechanical latches.
If the door will not unlock you may require service.
Be sure to set all the pieces aside and to keep them together so that you won t lose them.
Do not force the latch at anytime.
Pull out the two door knobs.
If the door isn t locking replace the door lock motor with the manufacturer approved replacement part.
It should slide out fairly easily.

Again all door configurations are different so you may have a different set up.
Reinstall the plastic cover and replace the assembly.

If it s unaligned loosen the strike plate screws and shift it slightly.
If this works then you can open the door and it s time to replace the dead latch.
If the door unlocks the control has reset itself and there should not be any other problems.
Now it s time to remove the latch.
Install the white plastic cover back onto the lock and actuator assembly by securing it with the two other screws you removed previously.
